emperor of the Qin Dynasty. Visit the elegant
Yu Garden, Shanghai old city area and Nanjing
Shopping Street. Visit Guilin and enjoy a cruise
along the Li River. Visit Ancestral Temple of
Chen Family, Six Banyan Temple and Qingping
Market; go to Shamian Island to enjoy the Pearl
River scenery in Guangzhou. Visit in Hong Kong:
Victoria Peak, Repulse Bay , Aberdeen Fishing

Beijing
Arrive in Beijing. Visit Tiananmen Square and
Summer Palace. Evening enjoy Beijing Opera.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 2

Beijing-Chengde (250km, 5 h driving), B+L
In the morning, drive to
Chengde. On the way, visit the Jinshanling area
of the Great Wall, one of the most spectacular
and least visited. On arrival at Chengde, visit
the "Mountain Resort"-the summer residence of
the Qing Emperors. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3

Chengde-Beijing
(250km, 5 h driving), B+L
Visit the magnificent temples of Puning and Putuozongsheng,
built in imitation of the Potala Palace in Lhasa.
After visit, return back to Beijing. Overnight
at hotel.

Day 4

Beijing
/ Luoyang (813 km, 11h train), B+L
Visit Purple Forbidden City, the largest imperial
palace all over the world; then Hutong, the old
residence of local habitants by pedicab; and Temple
of Heaven. Enjoy a lunch in local families. Train
to Luoyang. Overnight on train.

Luoyang, B+L
Arrive in Luoyang. Transfer to visit White Horse
Temple, the first Buddhist temple in China since
the religion spread to the country; Shaolin Temple
which is famous for its Shaolin Kongfu. Return
to Luoyang city and visit the local market. Overnight
at hotel.

Luoyang
- Xian (387 km, 5h30 train), B+L
In the morning, visit Longmen Grottoes, one of
the three great treasure houses of grotto art
in China. Transfer to take the Train to Xian and
arrive in the late afternoon. Transfer to the
hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7

Visit the famous Terra-Cotta Warriors, the 7000
figures of warriors and houses which are over
2000 years old, and discovered only by accident
in 1974. Back in the city continue to visit Muslim
quarter and the Great Mosque, and Xian City Wall.
Overnight at hotel.

Visit the Stele Forest, the largest stone library
in China, and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Flight
to Shanghai and stroll along the Bund. Overnight
at hotel.

Visit the elegant Yu Garden, Shanghai old city
area and Nanjing Shopping Street. Go to Xintiandi
Shopping Mall, a chic shopping area which is rebuilt
in former French Concession. Overnight at hotel.

/ Guilin (2h20 flight), B+L
Visit Shanghai Museum, boasts 110,000 historical
objects and 430,000 reference pieces and People's
Square. Flight to Guilin and visit the Walking
Street. Overnight at hotel.

Take a Li River cruise to Yangshuo and drift gently
through magical landscapes. Spend the afternoon
browsing through Yangshuo local market. Overnight
at hotel.

Fly to Guangzhou. Visit Ancestral Temple of Chen
Family, Six Banyan Temple and Qingping Market;
